Technology Update

Many students at Cobbet have become technology pros this year! They have been putting their skills to use while using iRead, FirstInMath, and eBooks via their apps on the iPads. Students from the technology club can also be seen here working together to try out new technolgy that operates using an iPad attachment called the Osmo.

Interview with Mrs. Riffe

Today I am going to interview Mrs. Riffe!

When is yor birthday? May 27th

What do you love about this school? EVERYTHING! Teachers are the most caring people in the world. The students are the best and everybody works really hard. We also have a really cute mascot, am I right?

Why did you join this school? IT has been my dream ever since second grade. It has been my dream to teach at a school like Cobbet with students from all over the world.

What is your favorite ice cream flavor? Anyhthing with peanut butter and chocolate together.

Do you like caramel? I prefer peanut butter.

What is your favorite pink this season? I've been into coral this season!

Are you married? Yes I am married to a very handsome man named Mr. Riffe.

After you are done teaching what are you going to do? Drive an ice cream truck or open up a cheese shop!

What is your favorite food? Anything with cheese

Where are you from? Virginia

If Cobbet students were your kids how would you feel? HAPPY! I WANT TO KEEP THEM ALL!

What is your dog's name? Brie, which is a kind of cheese.

What is your talent? I love singing and dancing, but am not good at it.

Who is your favorite singer? Justin Bieber...I won a karaoke contest!

The Scene...

Kindergarten teachers, students and their families gathered together for a fundraiser at McDonald's on the Lynnway on May 11th. A portion of the proceeds from food sales from 4:00-7:00 as well as money raised by the 50/50 raffle will be used to make the upcoming Kindergarten field trip to Smolack Farms in North Andover as affordable as possible. It was a fabulous time for all who attended!
