  1. When your friend is not working you can ask them nicely to work please!

  2. When the teacher said go do something you go.

  3. If you need a pencil you tell your friend to give you the pencil PLEASE.

  4. If this guy knocks over my books and left someone else can zoom to help me.

  5. Be respectful with other friends.

  6. I was nice to a kid because when he was alone I cheered him up.

  7. If someone falls you can help your friend up.

  8. You can invite someone to play a game with you.

  9. You can complement someone if they are having a bad day.

  10. Smile to your friend.

Thanksgiving

Hi my name is Diane. Today I am going to tell you about my favorite holiday, Thanksgiving. Do you know why it's my favorite holiday? Because a bunch of families get together and just spend time together. There's a lot to cook if you have a big family that are coming to celebrate this beautiful holiday. We spend time on that day thanking God for giving us this amazing and delicious foods like turkey, sweet potatoes, pumpkin pie, and more fantastic foods.  I am also going to tell you about the first feast the pilgrims had with the native people. They had a feast because they were happy that they now lived in a new place. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!

Cat & Mouse

Once upon a time a mouse asked a cat for money, and the cat asked if the mouse would be able to pay him back. The mouse said yes, but a week after the cat said "Are you going to pay back my money?" Then the mouse said "I forgot, but I will give it to you next week." Then next week came and cat said "where is my money?" The mouse said "I don't have it, and I will never have the money. I'm never going to be responsible to return your money cat. So cat said "I will let you get away with it but next time you won't be so lucky." So next week after mouse asked "can I get some money?" the cat said, "Are you going to pay me back this time? Would you be able to pay me next week?" And he agreed and next week came and mouse said "Give me until next week." Next week came and cat said "where is my money?" Mouse said I'm poor so I can't give you money and mouse said not to give him any more money. So now cat does not give mouse money anymore because he's not responsible.

Author's Note: Responsibility is all about being responsible. You can be responsible by making sure you don't lose anything. Being responsible is like you have to keep your word, what you promise and you have to take care of something that you borrowed. In this story mouse didn't keep his promises to give back money, which was not responsible.

It was Prince Reese. She felt embarrassed and said sorry. The prince helped her up and asked "Do you want to go on a walk with me?" She answered "yes". Then they walked and talked in the garden and he gave her compliments and she blushed. He told her about the agreement "My mom wants me to marry" and he said "I need to ask you a question" and then she said "sure, what is it?" Then out of nowhere he pulled out a ring and said "Marry me Juliet."

Running Club

This club is on Mondays. I'm there and you have to run. First we do some laps and then we play a little game in the running club. You have to go to Mrs. Riffe's classroom the number is 334. You have to pay $10 to sign up so you can be ready for the cross country meet!

Veteran's Day Ceremony

It is important to honor the Veterans because they fight to keep us protected. During the Veteran's Day ceremony Ms. Paige was a lot of help and we should be thankful for that. There were also some readers on the microphone. It was nice that they were brave. Again, it is important to honor the Veterans because they keep us protected and maybe to be thankful we can send them a letter. What I feel about Veteran's Day is fun because I have a nice day out with my family.

Art Club

Shonna here, telling you the juicy details about....Cobbet School clubs! We at Cobbet School have a wide variety of after school activities like Art Club, Workout Wednesday, Chorus, and an all-girl support group. Here is what some of the leaders of each group have to say about it. Mrs. LaRosa and I had an interview and I asked all the questions from here on out. Some people want to know exactly why our teachers choose the after school clubs that they do, I know I want to. I asked Mrs. LaRosa "What are most of the art activities in art club?" She said "Right now we are working on a mural painting project. We will do some sculptures and other design projects." Her students are very considerate. When I was interviewing Mrs. LaRosa Yaquilin said "I want to accidentally mulish team work so I can finish more projects for Mrs. LaRosa." How sweet! Well that's all for now, bye!

After School Club

Hi my name is Geralda and I'm in 4th grade. Ms. Merullo's after school club is on Tuesday. It starts at 2:15 and ends at 3:30. At after school we first do homework like math homework, reading log, fluency with questions on the back, spelling, and first in math. We then do rotations we have to work with teachers and homework. In the second rotation we get snacks like goldfish, animal crackers, and the healthy brain break snack. I like the after school club because I get to do homework with my friends. It makes me feel happy and comfortable.

Thanksgiving. Most of us celebrate it. Some of us a little different. When we sit at that table and eat one thing that's always on my mind is how my mom took her time to make all this for us just so we can sit together and talk about how much we love each other. I also think about how we just get to be together and that's very important to be with your family and just love how you feel so free and nothing can go wrong. I also would like to say let’s all think about how soldiers are out there and might not be with their families. They are doing so much just so we can all be together with our family. So thank you soldiers!

Fitness Club Update

So now we started the fitness club and I am a member. I am in 4th grade and am so happy we get to go on the treadmill (and I also have one in my house). The teacher that runs the club is....Mrs. Marrie. I thank Mrs. Marie for doing all of this and finally I can get in shape. The day that I go is Wednesday from 2:15 to 3:30. This is helping me get ready for cross country. For the first two weeks we did some fun things. Mrs. Awesome Marrie out on a video so we can do the exercise. Then we did a fun game, it was crab soccer!
